Wonderful things are happening to not only those in need, but the willing hearts and hands that share their time, talents and items with them! As we give service, we are blessed.
We have chosen to donate to a charity for the sick and needy called Relief Share who is the catalyst for miracles, great and small, that are happening in hospitals, medical centers, food pantries, homes, churches and crisis centers in America.
Every day volunteers from Relief Share meet the needs of those who are struggling in this difficult economy, little ones who are seriously ill and getting medical attention in hospitals, organizations who are requesting assistance for basic essentials for their patients and families that find themselves in dire straights with no hope until loving hearts and hands reach out to help them.
These wonderful Relief Share volunteers are earth angels who are God's hands and feet providing miracles such as warm blankets, cuddly clothes, food, furniture and even children’s burial layettes when they are sadly needed.
All items are given to the sick and needy free of any charge and none of the volunteers are paid a penny. This work is truly a work of the heart by those who sacrifice their own time, money and talents to help those less fortunate.
