I have already found a few things and I'm only through one box--I know I have more. I will send the clothes first and then I'll send some Christmas items. - V

I am also making a special little quilt for Spencer. if you would make sure he/his parents get it I would really appreciate it. It is actually a little bit of a combination. it is a lovely blanket for him, but also can be used as pillow cases on 12" square pillows. It is done in sections... one for each member of the family ... each piece is a small little quilt with a back on it that makes it a pillow case. Of course instead of openings that little arms and legs can get tangled in, I will have loosely slip stitched them closed... and then the different ones are joined to make one baby quilt... all they have to do is clip those stitches and they can use them as pillow cases on 12" pillows. that way, whether this little one is with them for a short time or a long time, it is either a memorial keepsake for each member of their precious baby brother, or else a souvenir of how he overcame all the hurdles. Someone I know did this for a mom who already knew that her baby might not make it (and he did pass after a few months) and the mom still has this pillow case/blanket on a pillow on her bed and it's been almost 10 years. she knows her baby used it and was comforted by it, and now she can cuddle up to it and be comforted by his memory. So, this is what I have planned... I just wanted to do something special for the family. - R

There's so much hate and bitterness in the world that its refreshing to see so much giving and love for this family who needs help.
