12-17-03 LATEST NEWS FLASH!!!! REBORN SPENCER HAS ARRIVED!
Did you hear all the excited voices all the way from Houston, MO?! He just arrived a short while ago and we are AMAZED at how closely he resembles Spencer himself. We put a call in to Brenda and Jack to tell them that Spencer was here, and are just waiting for a call back. My gosh, Lisa, you did a wonderful job. The doll body is ingenious - very well thought out :-)
Spencer's little soother fits perfectly to his mouth and he is so peaceful sleeping there. He is all cuddled up in his special blanket with the writing all around the edge, what a culmination of love.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ON LIZ'S TEAM! This little Spencer is a wonderful success - pretty soon he will be hugged and loved by the Lewis children in lieu of the real thing! All of you have made Christmas a lot brighter this year for Jay, David, Nanny, and Ezra.
When Lisa's baby Spencer comes in, there will a special baby for Jack and Brenda to hold and care for. When they are missing little Spencer they can hug the baby, feel it's warmth and be comforted. Both parents and children will have their own Spencer's to cherish.

Here baby Spencer is getting his hair. Hand rooted blonde mohair.
Here Spencer got his hair washed and cut and his paci is installed
In this next pic, you will notice Spencer underwent some blushing. After words, I decided to put him together to see how the limbs and chest plate I picked for him would match up.
I think he looks good. Now to color wash his limbs and get him. His own chest plate just for him.
It’s been a long day. Putting Spencer down for the night.Keeping him warm and snuggly.
I decided I wanted to hand root Spencer’s eyelashes. I never did this before, but wanted to do it. I don’t know why,but I did. Here you will see Spencer with his hand rooted eyelashes.
This next picture, I’m making sure the color on the tummy plate match the color on the head.
Spencer received his first outfit today.11/28/03 from Diane Waters.I wanted to see how he would look in his new outfit so I laid it on him and took a few pictures.
Here I have all the vinyl pieces side by side making sure the color matches after they were colored and blushed..

We have 3 wonderful kids together. Stephanie 17, Rudy 13 and Rebecca 7. I’m new to the reborn world. I’ve been reborning since May of this year “2003”. Every baby I reborn is a whole new learning experience and I welcome the challenge with each baby I do. I’ve always been creative and artistic, but never utilized my skills until I stumbled across a reborn. It was love at first sight. I love babies.
After my 3rd c-section and Rebecca being born premature and having health issues herself, I was told I couldn’t have anymore children. At The time I didn’t care, I just wanted Rebecca to live and by the grace of God she did. I may not be able to physically have anymore children, but reborning has made dealing with that issue so much easier. Each baby I reborn is born with a part of me, my love for babies.
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity for being a part of Spencer’s life. I was truly honored and feel so blessed that I was able to do this. I feel So close to Spencer and feel as though I know him even though we’ve never met..
